Our resort’s spring-fed waterfront on King’s Bay is internationally sought out for swimming with the manatees. With newly renovated rooms we are the ideal spot in Crystal River, FL to rest, relax and have a great experience. With what the resort offers, we are an ideal destination to make great memories for you and your family. The kayak & boat rentals provide an immersive experience from our private launch boat ramp for a variety of marine life activities such as fishing, scalloping, and manatee tours. The best part of our resort is that you can do all of this without leaving our property. Captain Mike’s Swimming with Manatees, located conveniently in our lobby, provides all of these great tours and activities. Bring your boat! We have ample parking for your trailer and several boat slips to keep your boat moored to. Crystal River downtown has an array of local shops, cuisine, and libations for guests to accent their destination activities within a short walk.

Positives:
The location was great with a beautiful view of the river from the pool. The pool area was nice. Good location for swimming with manatees
Negatives:
They gave us a room that faced the river but it was under construction meaning there wasn't a view with all kinds of debris and caution tape. I wish they would have told us that before booking.

Location is great.
Rooms looked a bit renovated, all ok.
From the hotel area you can go with kayak to see/swim with manatees.
Pool ok and bubble bath (warm).
Negatives:
Rooms were parfumed via electricity. No need for that.
Shop was closed in the morning. A pity with kids.

Musty smell permeated through all of our items/clothes luggage. Staff came in to change towels, but nothing else. We were there for six nights, and never had the sheets/bed made.

Room was so nicely decorated, clean and beds were comfortable.
Negatives:
For the price paid, there should be complimentary coffee in the rooms-- if not in the rooms then the lobby for guests. I know there is a coffee shop in the lobby so this is probably why they don't do it but the price for the rooms should include the basics that cheaper motels/hotels provide. Also, the price for a bagel sandwich in the AM was much higher than other places.

Positives:
We liked that the hotel was near the water and my family and I were able to rent a pontoon boat and fish on the property. The staff was very welcoming and it felt safe. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were accommodating and very helpful. My husband and I liked having a kitchenette and balcony in our room. The hotel is not far from grocery stores and restaurants.

I loved the location of the property. The room we stayed in seemed to be just updated and very clean. We also booked kayaks with the company on the property and it was so convenient.
Negatives:
The only complaints I had were the beds were not the most comfortable and house cleaning started very early so you heard them cleaning the other rooms early. I put the do not disturb on our door so I knew they would not come in earlier than we wanted.
