The room appeared to have been attempted to be renovated. Chaise lounge was a nice touch in the room, and the lighting ws great!
Negatives:
The nightstands were damaged and old placed in a "new room". The shower and sink and floors were dirty. The laundry room floor and in and around the washer and dryer was filthy. It was obvious it hadn't been cleaned in a while. Previous reviews stated that "cleanliness" was a major issue. Regardless of renovations, if you do not have proper staff, training, expectations, etc, then things will continue to be dirty. Renovations also didn't seem to be completed in some areas or done correctly. To spend the kind of money it takes to do renovations and have them not done well or kept clean would be a serious problem for me if this was my hotel.

The bed was awful! My wife and I slumped into the middle of the bed. I literally put a pillow under my right should as not to fall into the "pit" in the middle! We are NOT large people... it was an old mattress!

The staff was amazing. Everyone was extremely friendly and a pleasure to talk with. The beds are very comfortable and the temperature in the room was great.

The hotel was being remodeled which we weren't aware of. The pool and hot tub were closed which weren't expecting.

The place is under renovations, half of the lobby was blocked for work. They had only 4 tables available for breakfast for the entire hotel. AC in lobby didn't work. They charged a high price for this poor facilities.
