Good
Positives:
Nothing!
Negatives:
There was DNA all over the place in our room. The remote control was sticky and disgusting. When I first entered the room, I took off my shoes. Big mistake! Within a few minutes, my feet were black! Took a shower in the broken tub, sink was clogged. I shuffled on the bath mat back to my bed so I wouldn't dirty my feet before getting in to bed. The bath mat was black underneath! The only thing that seemed laundered was the bed... Hopefully

Positives:
Nothing, we booked a week and left early.
Negatives:
Bugs crawling in room. Very dirty food was on floor upon arrival. Bath tub had two large holes in which water leaked out into bedroom. Room was not ready at checkin time. Main coffee machine in lobby out of order and none in room. Old gum stuck to floors in room with hair and dirt. Bathroom was not clean.

Unhappy customer
Positives:
Breakfast room too small for the amount of people using it.
Negatives:
Make the breakfast area bigger. Noise from patrons arriving late at night woke me up. Also, people staying next to our room were really loud.

Very good
Positives:
The room was ok. The location is great, about a 10 min drive to get the historic district
Negatives:
They try to setal your $$. Upon check-in, I was charged the full amount. I check my account balance daily. 2 days later, I was missing 789 $ ? I called my bank and was told that the hotel had put a hold on my card for 789$.The bank told me that the payment is scheduled to be taken in 2 days. I told my bank that I did not authorize that payment. Unfortunately, they were not able to stop the payment. My only choice was to cancel my debit card. In order to get money, I had to drive 30 miles to withdraw $$ from an in Network credit union. I called Choice Hotel as well as Booking, and they contacted the Hotel. What they told them was that I had a 789$ credit. We stayed for 10 days total, and while being in the lobby, we overheated 2 other guests complaining of being over or double charged. There are also goggle reviews that are stating the same problem with them trying to take extra $$

Positives:
The front desk attendant helped us when we discovered that our room had not been cleaned. She called another cleaner to come to our room and properly clean it. She asked us to wait in the lobby or to visit St. Augustine for at least 30 minutes to give the cleaner enough time.
Negatives:
The location is right off the highway so the driver must be looking for the road to take that immediate right turn and there is no sign pointing to the entrance. Obviously, finding out that the room and the bathroom was not cleaned was a major problem. However, the worst thing about this hotel was all the spiders. If anyone has arachnophobia, this hotel is a MUST AVOID. There were giant (7-inch diameter) spiderwebs everywhere and right above our door was an 8-inch spiderweb with a quarter-sized spider in it.
