Positives:
The location was right on the ocean. Very beautiful views. The Oceanside restaurant was excellent and poolside drinks were wonderful
Negatives:
I requested an upper floor and received ground floor (I was told that requests aren't guaranteed, and if I wanted an upper floor, I should have paid the extra fee). The patio door was filthy and moldy. The facility is dated. The pool area was over-crowded, making it hard to find a beach chair to sit on. If the resort wasn't so expensive to begin with, I may not have minded. But, if I pay 5 star prices, I hope for 5 star service.

I forgot my purse at the falcons nest restaurant and the loss prevention team returned it to me full of cash and other valuables. I appreciate that so much! They were really great.
Negatives:
Housekeeping wasn't very consistent and seemed to be trying to avoid cleaning the room. They left hotel dishes from room service in the room for our entire stay and they didn't give us fresh towels, they just rehung the ones from the floor back on the towel bar.
