Positives:
The rooms were new and very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good for American standards.
Negatives:
The area around the swimming pool could use some updating and some climbing plants in the existing pergolas for shade. The pan that was provided with the induction stovetop was very small since we are a family of 5but we made it work. I hadn't realized that the place was so far away from most touristic sites which is difficult of you don't have a car.

Good sized room. Spacious and well equipped. Clean.
Negatives:
Location is convenient for access to the southern part of the Everglades and our subsequent journey to the keys, but there is not much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, which is surrounded by busy roads.
