Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Room wasn’t ready. No discount or breakfast offered to make up for it.
While we waited in the parking lot for our room people in a parked car smoked marijuana. This smoked us out of the gazebo.
There were so many waiting for a room, the Karens in the lobby took up all the scant furniture.
The accessible room had no threshold to keep water in the shower area.
The shower wand did not reach the installed shower chair.
The large bathroom flooded because of the shoddy shower curtain and poorly graded floor. This was a safety hazard for both my husband and me.
The towels were scratchy and there was a lack of bedside charging resources.
I was disgusted I was charged what we were charged.

Location was nice and the staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Negatives:
The room had a musty smell. I informed house keeping and she provided me an air freshener. I asked her what it could be and she informed it must be the A/C or the carpet. I tried my best to keep the door open at times but the smell just wouldn’t go away. I was in room 502. This really made my trip dissatisfying. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. Please do something regarding the smell of the rooms for your guest to have a pleasant experience.
