Positives: Shawn, the check in clerk…he’s the only redeeming quality
Negatives: The flooring in the room was loose, the toilet wobbled, the room had only a half roll of toilet paper for 2 people, the bed while decently comfortable was very loud with shifting, the bedside lamp left of the bed didn’t work. It’s a pet friendly hotel, cannot leave your pet unattended (understandably) however you cannot take food from the dining area, so are you to eat separately from your spouse?

Positives: The location in regards to proximity of our destination
Negatives: This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I should have known we were in for a bad experience when we arrived and the lobby floor looked as though it had not been mopped in weeks and the desk agent was blaring some kind of heavy metal in the tv so loud I could barley hear him speaking. The signs saying in order to receive clean towels I would have to bring down my dirty towels was the next red flag, but it was 10:30 pm and we had to be up early so I decided to get my family checked in and ready for bed. Upon entering the room the smell was very unwelcoming and the room felt damp. There were stains in the bedding and the room had clearly not been really cleaned well. In the early morning hours a trip to the bathroom revealed cockroaches and I was done. There was no sleeping for me from that point. The walls were extremely thin. The guests upstairs were having sack races or who knows what until about 3:30 am. By 5:30 am I had my family up and picking to leave. I could not stay another minute. It felt unsanitary and unsafe . There were spots on the floor that looked like possible blood. Holes on the baseboards where I’m sure more pests could easily come and go. I made my way down to the lobby to let them know we would be leaving and not returning for the remainder of our stay only to be told they couldn’t do anything about housekeeping or refunds. I had to ask for names and numbers of who to call and after several requests I was finally given the names and numbers. At 8:00 am I spoke with Eric the property manager who apologized profusely and assured me he would fleeting our stay as “no one should have to stay in those accommodations” and he assured me he would speak with his manager Jeff to make sure the refund happened as he would call me back. Here we are three days later and no refund and no phone call.

Negatives: It was late, or I would not have stayed. Place looked great until I was getting ready for bed and went to the bathroom. I noticed there were only one towel and one rug thing in the bathroom. After closing the door, I found a filthy washcloth wadded up and draped over the towel hook on the back of the door! No one had cleaned the bathroom!
