Negatives: They said they had a restaurant and they did not. I 2as at their sister hotel. They said they had a bar but did not serve liquor or wine. Beer only.

Negatives: I feel this hotel is overpriced when you look at the poor service provided, the lack of attention from the staff at the registration desk, the dirty floor in the rooms… I booked a 2 bedroom suite for my family with 3 kids including a baby. They gave us a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator and stairs to climb with our stroller. Plus the room was on 2 floors and this was not specified either. Not convenient at all with young kids. The room was not ready when we checked in because they were still cleaning it. Fine. However when we finally entered the room and let the kids enjoy it, we realize that the baby who had been crawling for less than 5 minutes had his hands, his feet and his knees all black. The floor was so dirty that I am sure it has never been mopped. Not what you expect from a 4 Star. The check in process was also bad. The young lady kept looking at her screen the whole time and didn’t look at me in the eyes once. I even had to ask her if she was listening to me when I was asking questions. She saw that I was travelling with my parents who are over 80 and with 3 young kids. She didnt even propose some water or a place to seat while we were waiting for our room. The room has a kitchenette. Which on paper is convenient when you have kids. But how are we supposed to eat our food with no plates and no cutlery. We asked and they gave us 2 plates for 7 people. Nice… Same for body wash and shampoo. They gave us 1 set for 7 people for 4 days. So people don’t take shower everyday in the Keys ? Last, while we were enjoying the pool the first day, we saw another large family who was loud, who was eating chips in the pool, playing their own music on a portable speaker, with a dog underneath the lounge chair… I mean how many rules do people have to break before the hotel team says something so that the other guests can enjoy their stay ? Nobody seems to care from the hotel staff.

Negatives: Bathrooms could be a little cleaner.

Negatives: The building we were placed in was very old and the floors were extremely dirty. The air conditioner did not go down past 76 the entire stay, we even had someone come up and look at it. The pull out bed was awful, unusable actually, the mattress was so thin and extremely uncomfortable. Last stay we were in a nicer and newer building which ultimately was the reason we came back to stay, not too sure we will return without confirmation of room before check in.

Negatives: The floor of the room was dirty - needed mopped, not just swept. The couch was stained, needed steam cleaned or wet vacced. The curtains in front of the balcony had been pulled down and reattached, but wonky. The window's lock in the bathroom was broken off, and the sink stopper was broken. It's the little details like this, the poor maintenance, that keeps this from a higher rating.

Negatives: Pool was closed when we arrived for first few days. Cleaning staff was difficult to communicate with due to their supposed failure to understand Enlish.
