Great location. Great size room. Nice big outdoor pool area.

Aircon in room was not working. We only stayed for one night and by the time we realised it wasn’t working it was late in the evening and kids had gone to sleep. I’m sure if I had notified reception attempts would have been made to rectify the situation as the staff were all very friendly.

everything except the attitude of the Manager of the restaurant.

Bad attitude of the Manager of the Pier 1515 restaurant (M.Franklin)
We booked the hotel through Expedia, breakfast included. M. Franklin said he didn't recognized the breakfast through Expedia and we have to pay. He has been very intimidating with us, threatening even of insubordination the employee who tried to help us.
His attitude spoiled completely our stay at this hotel. Lucky enough, the reception desk employee was very good and helpful, and solved the issue by adding coupons.
On top of that, we asked for toast, and jam to go on the toast, he said they are out of jam. When we told the story to the lady at the entrance of the restaurant, she gave us jam, they had some.
I think it was racisme against us, because we were white and foreigners.

Check in time took 2 hours. When I got to my room the door did not seal all the way, you could see the hallway. There is no smoking on the premises but I could smell smoke while laying in bed

Can’t beat convenience !! This hotel was close to everything we needed. We traveled by bus (only 8 minutes away from the hotel) then uber around ( all rides less than 7 dollars a person). Right on the river walk . Beautiful scenery.
Negatives:
The pool area closes at 9pm☹️ didn’t get a chance to visit ; maybe next time. Tried to rent a microwave on the first night and we were told they were all given out then we were told they didn’t do microwave rentals at all the second night.
