The location was nice. The resturants within walking distance was nice.
Negatives:
The lobby has such a strong smell of perfume or detergent it was very overwhelming.The floor our room was filthy. We don't wear shoes inside the room and my children's feet were black just walking from the bed to the bathroom.We had to wear socks.

Rooms and bathrooms, elevator, all area of the hotel were visibly dirty, and I don't mind "outdated," but this place was run down.

Proximity to an event we attended. Good parking close to our room.

Short breakfast hours 6:30 to 9:30....we are later sleepers. Thin towels and only two of each size provided. Lumpy duvet. Strange tv remote and no station guide in room. Paid over $200 for one night in a two star hotel.

Positives:
Brought my own coffee maker . All the doors were hard to open and shut. Heard many slamming room doors in two days. My room bathroom door would not close or open properly. Room was clean and well stocked with towels .
Negatives:
The hotel staff was helpful. The ice machine did not work on the first floor. The room felt humid when we first got there. Not fond of your continental breakfest.
I think hotel had some flood damage.

Paint fumes lingering from recent paint. My wife had a headache all evening. Could not change rooms hotel was booked. Breakfast was not as expected no protein. However clerk made her breakfast that consisted of eggs. No protein or milk

I took a look at the breakfast but there wasn’t much to it so I opted to pass on it. I did have juice but that was all. The WiFi did work well in the room.
Negatives:
The outdoor grounds were very dirty. There were cigarette butts everywhere both in the grass and in the parking lot. There was also trash scattered around in the parking lot. We were next door to the laundry room and the machine was very noisy. The front desk clerk who checked us in was very rude. The hotel manager did intervene and resolved an issue we had to our satisfaction. When checking out I requested a printed copy of my receipt and was told by that clerk she was not able to print one at that time but someone would email one to me. It has been 6 days and I still have not received a copy of my receipt. This location was very good in terms of proximity to the events we were in town for, but I will definitely look for another place to stay if I return to that city in the future.
