All rooms at the The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota are spacious and air-conditioned. They come equipped with a marble-trimmed bathroom and private balcony overlooking the bay or city. Each guestroom also has a work desk. Guests have access to the exclusive Ritz-Carlton Beach Club located just 3 miles from the hotel on the white sandy beaches of Lido Key. It features a private beach, comfortable lounge chairs, a gulf-front zero-entry heated swimming pool, hot tub and elevated Ladies and Gentlemen's changing facilities. Free shuttle service is provided to and from the Beach Club for resort guests. Guests will also have access to The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, an award-winning, Tom Fazio designed par-72 golf course. Also available to guests is The Ritz-Carlton Spa. Guests can choose from an extensive menu of body treatments, facials, massages and beauty services. We have traveled a lot, and we've never stayed at Ritz-Carlton before, however, every person that has recommended us to stay at the Ritz always talk about how great the staff are and we were not disappointed. From the valet guys to the cleaning staff, just a 100/10. The room is spacious, and everything was immaculate. The pool was nice, but the water was HOT that it wasn't refreshing, but blame the scorching hot Florida weather. Pool drinks were good, and the staff was very attentive. I booked in advance a massage for my husband since we were celebrating our anniversary and the girl over the phone did tell us about that the actual spa area was in the process of remodeling so we really couldn't enjoy the full spa experience. No big deal. My husband loved the massage, and it was worth it.
