About This Property
This Saint Petersburg resort is on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Water sports activities such as parasailing and wave runners can be arranged. Fort de Soto Park is a 15-minute drive away. All rooms at the Sirata Beach Resort and Conference Center feature a refrigerator, CD player and a coffee maker. Some rooms include a balcony or patio with views of the beach and gulf. Compass Grille serves regional dishes featuring Florida seafood. Rum Runner’s Bar & Grille also serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a beach setting. Harry’s Beach Bar prepares tropical drinks and specialty sandwiches. The Sirata has 3 pools with poolside cabanas and 2 whirlpools. Beachfront hammocks, beach cabanas, and a fitness center are also available on site. Live music can be enjoyed at Harry’s Beach Bar on the weekends. The Sirata Beach Resort is less than 4 miles from Egmont Key State Park and less than 6 miles from Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Positives:
The night and evening management that was there on 4/1-4/3/24 made our stay memorable and eliminated a move of rooms that was unavoidable on my part! They listened and helped at off peak times to eliminate any wasted time for my family which was my goal!
Negatives:
Everything including the beach, grounds and weather was a perfect 10! Easter 2024 will go down as one of the best ever!

This hotel has continued to go down over the years... it is not managed very well and it is dirty and in disrepair.

That the resort fee did not include beach chairs. It was the one amenity that we were in need of and they were unavailable. We then had to go across the street to purchase chairs for the family. The rooms need updating and and deep cleanings.

The location of the hotel is great. Both pools and bars were great as well. The staff were friendly.

The condition & cleanliness of room was very disappointing. The floor (faux wood) may have been swept, but it definitely wasnt mopped. The floor surface and counters were black when I wiped them down. I had to cover the sofa with a sheet before sitting.

1, was never told about a resort fee and parking fee, stayed here 6 times and not once were we shared resort fees or parking fees, rooms totally outdated, same for last 30 years. Never will we stay here again,

Room was dated, sliding balcony door was broken and would not latch. Our room didn't have a bathtub, so my young child was unable to bathe. Loud music from reception hall shook walls, guests left dirty dishes outside our door in hallway.

Very outdated. Gave us a handicap room with no counter & shower head very low. Just run down & needs updated.

Room needed maintenance attention in a bad way. Tub was dirty, furniture had stains and very worn. Parking difficult to find. They put us up in a building across the hotel parking lot. Was very run down. Very expensive for accommodations received.

it was horrible!! Pay to park 25/day, pay for chairs on the beach, 40.00/day for resort fee plus 50.00 day for incidentals. Had to pay--- at checkin plus the room charge.
