Stay Friday night came in for my uncles funeral & I came in the room 172 Disability room 1st night i had my cakes out that I brought in for my funeral & roaches came out from desk I had them on,then morning day of funeral water in room didn't work in shower hot water didn't work in sink so wife & I took cold sink wash offs...told Manager after returning from funeral she gave me back one day then new room 171 for last night nates were in bed & wife sprayed lysol she had brought sheet was dirty so I left & bought a sheet from Walmart & then we just slept the night & left early next morning....just a horrible experience on top of grieving I was so Disappointed in this Hotel my 2nd time staying at this name brand hotel in past 2 months & very shocked of the stay i had.

It’s a motel, so your room door open to a balcony and these people stayed outside until 4am talking as loudly as they could so I couldn’t sleep. No security around there that late .

Positives:
Nothing much. The Breakfast Lady was nice, very efficient and kept the whole room clean and ready for the next guests. The breakfast was very busy that morning and she stayed on top of replenishing the food areas and wiping down the tables and crumbing the chairs. She was an asset.
Negatives:
No coffee maker or hot water pot in room. I often will bring my own instant coffee on travels, but still want a hot water pot to make coffee. The missing mini-refrigerator was not really an issue, but I do often travel by car in the state, and will bring food from home. I don't buy exclusively from restaurants. I am value conscious.
Also, it rained heavily, and the rain turned the path from my parked car into a swollen creek and even walking clear to the other side of the parking lot, provided only a marginally less flooded main road between the bulk of the lower front parking lot and the office and main building.
The Soap dispenser in the shower was fairly low in quantity and I had to push quite hard on the plunger to get any soap out of the dispenser bottle.

Beautiful trees and plants around the pool/property. The pool was nice, good size, chairs and tables available. The staff was very nice and the housekeepers were always helpful. I stayed for a week and I would definitely stay again. Room was nice and had pretty much everything you need. Clean, comfortable beds, extra pillows. I liked that the shower/bath & toilet were separated from the vanity/sink setup so both could be used at the same time. Breakfast was basic, but had enough options and the fresh waffles were great. 24/7 coffee located in the lobby. Remodeled; Does not have the dated walls and carpets seen in some photos.
Negatives:
The only issue I had the entire trip was trying to get another comforter. I called down to desk 3 different times, but it never came. I waited til morning and asked the housekeeper myself when I saw her. This wasn’t a big enough issue for me to not stay again though.

Close to bush gardens which...
Positives:
We were in town for a cheer competition ..a few parents found this as it was close to the venue..The front desk guy was super nice and tried to find us a room that didn't smell like mold and dirty carpets..It is a ran down motel. Beds were super hard. It was paid for through Booking,com so we could not get refunded. Pictures aren't what the motel really looks like..the carpets were as old as the motel.30 years probably..

Smell of the rooms..carpet old as motel.. group of people partying at the pool area ..smoking weed and drinking and being loud..the girls were uncomfortable swimming around them so we left..
