La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Tampa-Near Busch Gardens

Negatives: Room was good, they gave us a key to a room at first that was occupied and we walked in on other guests. Front desk seemed unconcerned and just gave us another key

Negatives: It’s a motel, so your room door open to a balcony and these people stayed outside until 4am talking as loudly as they could so I couldn’t sleep. No security around there that late .

Negatives: No coffee maker or hot water pot in room. I often will bring my own instant coffee on travels, but still want a hot water pot to make coffee. The missing mini-refrigerator was not really an issue, but I do often travel by car in the state, and will bring food from home. I don't buy exclusively from restaurants. I am value conscious. Also, it rained heavily, and the rain turned the path from my parked car into a swollen creek and even walking clear to the other side of the parking lot, provided only a marginally less flooded main road between the bulk of the lower front parking lot and the office and main building. The Soap dispenser in the shower was fairly low in quantity and I had to push quite hard on the plunger to get any soap out of the dispenser bottle.

Negatives: The only issue I had the entire trip was trying to get another comforter. I called down to desk 3 different times, but it never came. I waited til morning and asked the housekeeper myself when I saw her. This wasn’t a big enough issue for me to not stay again though.

Negatives: That they don’t take cash and they have a sign 100 deposit but they take out 184 deposit

Negatives: Smell of the rooms..carpet old as motel.. group of people partying at the pool area ..smoking weed and drinking and being loud..the girls were uncomfortable swimming around them so we left..

Negatives: The rooms were dirty, one room had ants! And LOTS of them. The big gaps in the doors were unsettling and could smell cigarette smoke the whole stay! 3 nights. I'm not staying at a laquinta again. I am very disappointed with the cleanliness of the facility. Not to mention the MOLD!!! in the bathroom and paint peeling off the walls! If I didn't have a huge family and 3 rooms rented to find another location, I would have left.

Negatives: Found empty whisky bottle under bed

Negatives: Pillows were soiled and smelled. Housekeeping turned air conditioner down very low so when I returned to the room in the evenings it was uncomfortably cold. Walls and ceiling had unfinished drywall mud repairs. Bathtub had a crack. Room of third floor leaked in the hallway. Elevator didn’t always work properly.

Negatives: Some of the staff was not very friendly

Negatives: Price was high but then again it was the weekend I had booked in for so most do raise the room price at weekends.

Negatives: I tink is good
