We were unaware the property was under renovation when reservations were made. Not a terrible problem... but hotel definitely needs refresh. We would have liked to know this was occurring when we made reservatiions.

Welcoming staff and excellent service. Room was up to standards for a luxury hotel. Price value ratio is good.
Negatives:
Room did not have complimentary tea. Coffee in room was unacceptable as was coffee in the bar area. Maybe it is a sign of the times but the hotel food menu all-day-dining needs some fine tuning. Entree choices are limited in number.

The pillows made sleeping hard. They're too soft. It felt as if I had no pillow, and I stacked the three pillows provided per bed.
