Excellent location adjacent to the arena and park. Put your car in the garage and forget it. We were able to walk with our 3yr old granddaughter to the aquarium, Coca Cola museum, playground, and to take in a Hawks game. Awesome city view from our room.
Negatives:
As is the trend right now, for us hot sleeping women in our 50s the bedding is too much. You've got the option of just a top sheet or a super thick, heavy and hot duvet. Freeze or roast...so a good night's sleep was challenging.

The hotel didn’t have my reservation when we arrived and I had to book a new room, causing me to be charged twice. Their computer systems were down so no new reservations were found and no room keys could be issued. To get into the elevator and my 11th floor room, I had to have a manager escort me. The staff acted like their issues were the customers fault. No one apologized for the inconvenience until I complained the next morning.
I had to call booking.com to explain the situation and have my original reservation canceled and refunded. As it was less than 24 hours notice, I was told I had to pay a cancellation fee. booking.com contacted the hotel to ask for it to be waived. Unfortunately, the hotel never received the notice and their reservation phones were down so they could not help any further. Both payments are still on my credit card statement. This is unacceptable and I am incredibly upset about it.

The primary factor behind these scores primarily derives from the fact that my room was not prepared at all by 4pm. I ended up waiting an additional hour and a half, which greatly inconvenienced me as my event was scheduled to commence at 6pm. Consequently, I had to hurriedly attend my event without any opportunity to spend time in my room. To add to my frustrations, at 8am the following morning, an individual knocked on my door and promptly unlocked it, entering my room without any prior announcement or permission. This person turned out to be a staff member, and their sudden intrusion made me feel compelled to vacate the room immediately. Considering the substantial amount I paid for a single night's stay, I must express my disappointment with this establishment. This was my first experience at this particular location, and unfortunately, it was an unpleasant one.

I liked the location which was in close proximity to the attractions, park and numerous restaurants.

The check in process felt rushed and uninviting. The hotel felt dated and definitely overdue for renovations. The bathroom was dirty upon arrival and the tub faucet dropped continuously. The tv was broken and it took almost 24 hours for maintenance to come attempt to fix it after being told it would take 10-20 minutes for someone to arrive. The hotel restaurant had a very limited selection on their menu due to not having food delivered during our stay. The nightly rate was very high and definitely did not match the value provided.
