I am a swimmer, I book hotels with indoor pools. Upon arrival we were told the pool was closed, and it was listed on their website. It took several minutes at the desk for them to find the very small disclaimer print, buried on a back page, to show us the listing! We were also charged a “resort fee” for the pool!!!! Which was non refundable!
Two of the three elevators are out of order, and the line and wait was very long, it was suggested that we use the stairs, we were on the 9th floor?
The room was extremely dusty, no toiletries, no glasses? I was told sternly by the attendant that the room was acceptable clean and that I could request paper cups, but she had none, I had to go to the desk, who had none?
I found a very nice attendant on a different floor who graciously gave me two paper cups!

I had booked a suite. Check in was at 4 and I arrived at and was told no suites were available and would not be until 4:15 probably later. We had an event we had to get ready for so we swapped for a regular room, which we received no discount or anything even though we had paid for a suite. The room looked clean enough but I dropped something and bent down to pick it up and it looked like all the trash had been swept under the drawer/shelves ares. I will not be staying at Marriott again.
