I got this room anticipating it to have a balcony and “seating room” however it had neither. When addressed with hotel they stated Booking.com give false descriptions and there was nothing they could do. Almost $600 for one night, MY WEDDING NIGHT & was far underwhelming.

The large extractor fans on each floor - ask to be in a room away from them, like I said, the staff are fantastic and will move you if they can. The lifts (very slow).

Most of the stuff were very nice and kind!
They offer s’mores for the fire pit which is a really great idea. The pool is cute but a little small.
Negatives:
The hotel property is pretty old and not maintained so well. Room is very noisy at night, we were on the park side during the weekend.
They charge $49 /day for parking.
Do yourself a favor and skip breakfast, it gives you 50 dollars a day at their cafe which is terrible.

The location is good.
Negatives:
Rooms needed to be updated. Bathrooms were old and the shower looked like something in a locker room. The regular king room was very small. We moved to a larger room and that room had no working air conditioner. Some snacks are provided for free, but we were there for four days and they were never replaced. No maid service unless requested. Also they have a very late check in at 4:00. We were unable to check in any earlier.

We love the location in the historical district and close to restaurants and bars. Also close to the waterfront. The room was a good size, we got a Loft. The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and well stocked.

The room service is not always consistent, though it was better this stay.
