An 18-hole Jack Nicklaus signature Hualalai Golf Course is on site. Rooms offer a flat-screen TV. The modern rooms at the Four Seasons Resort Hualalai at Historic Ka’upelehu offer Hawaiian-inspired décor with views of the resort grounds or the Pacific Ocean. Free toiletries and a work desk are also included. Guests can enjoy a saltwater pool and an adult only area, as well as a full spa, and 15,000 square feet of fitness facilities. Private, white sand beaches are available at the Four Seasons Resort Haulalai with calm waters for easy swimming. Three restaurants and 2 lounges are available on site. The 4 Seasons facility was terrific and luxurious. Our room was good size with two bathrooms and was near the Ocean and the pools. The workout facilities were excellent. The Buffet breakfasts included everything you could possibily be looking forward to. The staff was very friendly and attentive, particularly at the various pools. Meal service was adequate.
Negatives:
The on property day trips were disappointing. The 4 Seasons provides virtually nothing. They refer guests to outside vendors which requires you to find a means of transportation to and from, as well as determining which vendors to use. The 4 Seasons capability was barely adequate. The concierge services were very uneven. You would be transferred from one person to another for every trip. Rarely, did the concierges actually pick up, and they don't seem to use voicemail. Getting reservations for Anything was a Giant hassle. They seemed to feel that they were doing you a favor.

The landscape design, especially with the infinity pools and snorkelling lagoon, was very nice. Idyllic looking beaches and very relaxed atmosphere. Well modernised rooms (TVs even have chromecast!) and refrigerators they let you fill with whatever you want instead of packing it with overpriced crap.
Negatives:
For a resort that charges on average 2 grand a night... the restaurants simply have to be better. This place presents itself as world class yet every single place to eat here is stuck in 2002... but you can still expect to pay hundreds per person for dinner. We were very excited for the seafood in a tropical paradise like Hawaii, but everything was extremely overcooked and extremely overpriced. It just feels really dirty for hotel in this price range- the hotel manager should be embarrassed that this is the quality they are presenting to their guests, who are pretty much captive, unless you rent a car (give you have a US/International driver's license, which we didn't), or are willing to pay $80 each way for a taxi in/out of town.
I know not everyone cares about food while on holiday, but if you do, avoid this place- I'm sure you will find MUCH better resorts in Hawaii.
ALSO, the ocean activities centre, while full of great staff, really did not have a good variety of activities. Snorkel scooters, stand-up paddleboards, and canoes... and that's it. No surfing or body boarding (no suitable beaches for these on the resort, but they don't offer any excursions for this either), no jet skies or related actives, no windsurfing, no parasailing, or any boat activities at all aside from the aforementioned canoe. And all that for $150 per hour!
