bathroom sink faucet didn't have the handle to plug sink so it was very slow draining, pulp mill was just across the river so the view wasn't the best and the chair (a desk chair) was really ratty

I didn't have breakfast there. The room was clean and staff very nice. This was just a convenient and inexpensive sleepover in the middle of my journey.
Negatives:
The detergent was apparently too strong on the sheets because my skin was so irritated I finally just rolled myself up in the blanket and bedspread. The heater was loud, and the door lock was loose and not working properly.

I was charged double what I reserved for. They had me cancel my reservation through this site, and I still got charged. Bad communication between booking.com and hotel

The location was doable but not very convenient.
Negatives:
The hotel was fine but the breakfast was horrible. It was a biscuit with egg, cheese, and sausage that needed to be microwaved because it was frozen and a bottle of juice. It had no fruit. I've stayed in many hotels where the food was made every morning fresh.
Also we were charged a damage deposit and couldn't get it back without the room being inspected first. I have NEVER been charged at any other hotels that I've stayed in.
