Room size was nice, front desk staff were great.

When we got into the room the furnace was on & ran for 20-30 min straight, blowing cold air even after the thermostat was turned up. It was freezing in the room. We ended up having to turn it off completely because it was too loud to sleep.

The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable.

The lobby and hallways showed a lot of signs of wear and tear. Prefer to be closer to the University when we stay in Champaign.

Thumps up to the lady who checked us in . She was the only one working there . If you need anything she was supportive and would try to personally get it.

If anything can go wrong , it will at this hotel. Never been to a worse staffed hotel. First the hotel staff asked us to offload our luggage at the wrong entrance ( far from lifts ) . Then they say they have no idea where the trolley is , so you have to take your luggage by stairs to third floor. The breakfast was till 9:30 . Even if you reach 9:00 all is empty (photos attached ) . If you are brave enough to ask them , they will not only be rude , you will be pushed out. Thankfully there is a Denny's breakfast near by. We had a suite , the mattress of the sofa bed is made of springs . The springs are broken and poking out . It is dirty and unusable.

It was super clean, staff was super friendly, and the room we had initially the AC was not working and the lobby attendant made a quick easy change for us.

The pool was not available. Thats one of the reasons I picked this place for my son to use so that was unfortunate.

Property was in bad need of updates. Room had strong unpleasant mold/mildew smell. Mildew in shower. Furnishings were tired and worn. Some of the other members of our group had door locks that didn't function properly. Not what we usually have found at other Residence Inns.

was overall good but had many issues upon arrival. tv wasnt working, no batteries, pool was closed, ants in new room.
