We loved the location, it was close to our friend who lives there. I liked there was a parking lot available to park in and it was close to the hotel.

We were at the end of the hall which is fine, but I do think there was some water damage to the floor. The entire room felt crooked or like we were walking sideways.

Nowhere on any website or even when checking in was it mentioned the hotel was under renovations. Not much sound proofing between rooms. Very short for breakfast hours.

Location is great. Rooms are nice. The lady working the weekend night shift from beverley was super nice.
Negatives:
The shutter "blinds" were totally ineffective at keeping out sunlight. I recommend getting better blackout blinds.
The value wasnt great. Prices for rooms are consistently quite above average every time I come to visit througout the year. I'd stay here more often if it was better priced.

It appears these are reclaimed buildings. The room had wood floors which made for a cleaner environment. I stayed in a king suite which was set up like a studio apartment with a great kitchenette, couch, wardrobe, television, and double vanity. It was a cozy stay. The hotel is also located in an active neighborhood about a 15 minute walk to the lake!
Negatives:
The hotel was a bit expensive and far from the city center. It required a walk, bus, and train ride to reach most destinations.
