Positives:
Fantastic location
Negatives:
The window unit is so loud and turns on and off 8-10 times per hour to maintain room temperature, it is hard to relax and enjoy a good night sleep.

Positives:
The location
Negatives:
Put in a small pokey room beside elevators. Dated furniture. Bed springs were gone, and when we asked to replace the mattress at the front desk, they did nothing to help. Won't be back.

Small room, terrible bed. Dated...
Positives:
The location was excellent! The room was very clean and the staff was helpful. The bed and pillows were comfortable!
Negatives:
There were no microwaves/fridges in the rooms, but the front desk does have a guest fridge where they can store your cold items. It’s a little inconvenient but not an issue. There is a $400 incidental fee that they don’t tell you about until you arrive, but if the room is undamaged you will get it back within 7ish days.

Loved staying here due to...
Positives:
Location, price
Negatives:
Heating made extreme sounds. Asking for more blankets as an alternative resulting in three thin ones that weren’t warm enough. They didn’t want to send up more, because we already had some. Incredible.
The coffee bar downstairs was open two mornings of the five we stayed there. They had a free coffee corner with so-so coffee but free croissants etc.

Okay, wouldn’t stay there again
Positives:
Location, staff
Negatives:
Room was small and Spartanly furnished.
Did not like extra charge "destination charge". BS!!
Just post hidden charges.

Positives:
Location was excellent, near Old Town and Lincoln Park, and downtown is walkable. Nice lake views from my room also. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful. The bar on the roof is worth a look too.
Negatives:
The hotel itself is quite old, and acoustic insulation wasn't great between rooms. My room was also directly outside the elevators on my floor which was the source of quite a lot of noise. To be fair though, if I had raised that with staff, I'm sure they would have changed me to another room, but I was only there for a couple of days so didn't bother.
