Positives:
The breakfast was great, but I didn’t realize it wasn’t accessible on the weekend until our arrival. It worked out that I was able to find a Starbucks and pick up a few items.
Negatives:
Better information to help figure out the transit system as it’s not something I’m used to. I used the map in the lobby, walked most places and used an Uber out of necessity.

Beautiful property. Lovely rooms with marble tiled bathrooms, luxe bedding, good scents and a tasty restaurant that serves Barcelona inspired dishes.

No complaints whatsoever!

My new favourite Chicago hotel.

I had a great stay- clean and comfortable, good location downtown.

Positives:
Location is excellent. Great Spanish restaurant Mercat. Room was comfortable and quiet.
Negatives:
There’s no cafe or breakfast place to grab and go. The restaurant is for Marriott Platinum members only and you have to pay $25 for a full breakfast. I had to go next store to the Hilton to get a Starbucks coffee and a croissant.

Positives:
Breakfast was included with my rate; turned out technically it was a voucher for a continental / small breakfast (not sure what that included...assume yoghurt and pastry or fruit selection) but you could use it as $ credit to other general menu selections which we did...and the breakfast we enjoyed was great - lovely restaurant

Positives:
Wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. Nice location.

Positives:
The location was fantastic as was the building and foyer. They've really leaned into the heritage of the building which was fantastic as was the extra floors, one with an art gallery. We loved how easy it was to get around from here.
The bathroom was very large and the style of the room was fantastic.
Negatives:
The hotel didn't really know if it was premium or not. It felt it was caught in the middle. We had our bags offered to be carried down the stairs on departure but not on arrival (which is fine because we are happy to do ourselves), however I feel this would usually be standard with 4 star. There was also no minibar, which again is fine as we don't use this, but strange for a 4 star hotel. The room layout also seemed inefficient, but large.

Positives:
Lovely old building with beautiful architecture. Great location with fantastic views. The room was small, but pretty although there was nothing extra special about it for what you would expect from this type of hotel.
Negatives:
The mood was not welcoming at all. None of the staff I encountered was helpful and kind of brushed me off. I had to carry all my baggage up several levels of steps by myself, as there was no one there to assist. Ice machine was not working on my floor. There were no cups or glasses in my room and when I asked at the desk, I was just given a bottle of water. The vibes were really bad in that hotel.
