Sleep Inn Decatur I-72

Negatives: I was not informed that the pool would be closed. I asked for a discount but was told, "no discounts are given under new management." Didn't have syrup for pancakes and told me to use hot honey "spicy honey" for my kids pancakes. Staff didn't care.

Negatives: looks like they are renovating which is good because it's a bit rundown

Negatives: Found a bug in my room not sure what it was but it was bigger than a roach, my room didnt have a towel rack because it was broken and no hair dryer because it was not functioning. Room was Ice cold when got in and the keycard kept locking me out.

Negatives: NA

Negatives: I booked with this location because it had a Jacuzzi listed as available thing but once i checked in, it was discovered that the jacuzzi was broken and out of service. The pool area was not well taken care of and not monitored very well. Kids were splashing water everywhere and for it being an indoor pool, it was freezing cold. The only complaint about breakfast was that the OJ machine was not operational.

Negatives: Too far from bar and grill and no taxi Uber

Negatives: First room had debris & smell of cigarette smoke. Second Room - door did not latch/lock when shut. Night clerk seemed nonchalant about the complaints. Housekeeping left pop cans in cleaned room.

Negatives: As for the room we had, it was in dire need of a remodel. The tile floor was glued down with gaps. You could see the subfloor. The walls had areas of repair that were started but never completed, such as drywall mud applied but never sanded in spots, and definitely not painted. Room smelt damp and dank. We opened the mini fridge and had a bag of texas toast that was left behind. The larger of the two microwaves in the room would not run for 30 seconds due to tripping the gfi. This day and age to not have an HD TV, I would think would be unheard of for the money and establishment, but here you go. Breakfast was free, and it showed. Pre-made cold hard biscuits and warm gravy in a crockpot, as well as scrambled eggs. The juice machine was out of order. Had butter for your bagel as well as cream cheese, but it was a shared block of cream cheese, not individual packs!!

Negatives: but the pool juice machine coffe machine didn't work ...breakfast is eggs sausage gravy cereal or donuts

Negatives: Top bedding dirty, comforter had dried fluid stains. Bathroom fan screeched like a banshee. TV remote batteries were dead. Toilet paper holder and towel bar broken- the pieces were stacked under the sink. Door cover to the AC control broken. Smoke alarm in the hallway chirping the entire stay. Third floor ice machine broken. Fridge cabinet broken and falling apart. Orange juice machine broken. Woodwork painting sloppy- some barely covered, some had large drips. Right side of sink dropped more than .5 inches from left side. Large black push pin in ceiling. Clock unplugged.
