Suite Dreams Hotel

Negatives: Photos and name of property suggested a hotel, but Suite Dreams is really a motel with very few amenities. So, their advertisement is a bit misleading.

Negatives: Pool was closed

Negatives: Room was dirty and floors were stained. Bed was very uncomfortable. Pillows were uncomfortable.

Negatives: The entrance door was broken and the treadmill at the gym is broken as well

Negatives: Bed bugs in my room. Door to bathroom in the room was missing. Had dirty sheets and pillows.

Negatives: I was traveling alone with my 7yo son and booked this hotel solely for the pool. Upon arriving, we found out it wasn't open (and hadn't been for years by the looks of it). We arrived around 6pm to find no one at the front desk. The phone was placed on the counter with a number to call. I did, and a nice gentleman appeared and checked us in. He led us through a bar and out a door into the very cold and dimly lit space where the rooms were, and instructed us as to where we'd find our room. When we arrived at our assigned room, there was a light on, a bed not made, and construction/cleaning supplies scattered all over the room. We headed back to the front desk, but upon returning to the same door we just entered from, it was locked. It was a very uneasy feeling as we were "trapped" inside this internal area. We had to walk to the other end of the hotel in this cold, dark area to find a door that led to the backside of the lobby. Again, we had to call someone to the front desk. The gentleman came back and explained they were doing remodeling but didn't know why that room wasn't listed as out of order. He assigned us a new one and, this time, walked us to it to ensure it was okay. This time, I only received 1 key card instead of the 2 I had received for the previous room. This hotel (and the "guests" we saw) gave me a very uneasy feeling. The hallways were potent with the smell of marijuana. I didn't feel very safe here, especially being a solo female with a child. The room was severely outdated and ran down. The carpet was severely stained. But I will say that the things that were able to be cleaned by a cleaning crew *were* very clean. Overall, the location and price were great. But I wouldn't stay here alone again.
