Positives:
We wanted a place to stay to go and see the total solar eclipse. This place was about 3 hours away from where we wanted to be, which was perfect for us. The price was excellent, especially compared to what other hotels were charging around the date of the eclipse. Everything was spotlessly clean, staff was kind and polite, and it was dog friendly!
Negatives:
Breakfast was just coffee, juice, muffins, granola bars, and some rather unappealing-looking fruit. But there was an EXCELLENT and affordable truck stop restaurant right across the street that opened at 5am. Most hotel breakfast buffets aren't that good anyway, and we were very satisfied to save money on the room and spend it ordering our own breakfast at the restaurant.

Negatives:
Its only 2 floors, but wouldve been nice to have an elevator. Or maybe they shouldve put us on 1st floor since the hotel was pretty empty.

Just your basic Super 8
Negatives:
I made sure when booking it had breakfast included. There was nothing. Coffee and a basket with apples. Dining area closed for remodeling. Booking.com needs to know these things three hotel in three days only one had breakfast as promised.
