Located in the heart of downtown Peoria. The staff were genuinely trying their best.
Negatives:
The property does not have parking. I showed up at 6:00 pm and there was no street parking; and had to pay to park in a neighboring hotels garage.
This particular weekend. The wheels appeared to be coming off for the hotel. The key card machine had been broken for two days when I arrived and all of the guests had to be escorted to the rooms by front desk staff. Then one of the two elevators broke down. My concerns for the infrastructure of the property will keep me from staying there again.

The bartender was on Friday night was exceptional. She was nice, engaging, and quick to serve us all. The breakfast on Saturday morning was very good. I had the eggs benedict. Everything was fresh and the eggs were cooked to perfection.
Negatives:
The breakfast on Sunday morning was not very good. The coffee didn't taste good, the sausage patties tasted off, the waitress didn't bring any butter or jelly for the toast, and there was no bacon. To top it off we had to wait a long time to get the food. I had to use the bathroom while we were waiting and found that the guest bathroom next to the restraint wouldn't flush and it was full of pee and TP.

Hotel was great for what I needed it to be. Clean, comfortable, friendly staff. Food was very good at the restaurant and reasonably priced (had the special of burger/fries $10).
Negatives:
I didn't like the parking garage, a bit creepy at night but it was free. I was able to get a spot in front of hotel 2nd night which was good and free. The pool looked great but was not open, pending inspection so was disappointed about that.
