Positives:
For the most part it was cute room location was thought to be ideal just the hwy being as close as it is it's loud
Negatives:
Took over and hour for me to get checked in no one came to the front desk for houri stood there and there was cockroaches in the room and was told I would get refunded some and could be moved in the morning and as of this moment not been moved as it is after checkout now was wanting to try again to stay again just in a different room with no roaches

The woman who checked us in was very friendly & accommodating. The rest of the staff, not so much. As always, pets stay free, thank you!

My room was ok, my friends room was dirty & the TV didnt work & no remote. She ended up getting a different room. My room was clean but the curtains had a burned spot & the flooring etc. were tired. There were several sketchy people hanging around outside and the grounds had garbage everywhere. The road noise from 35 was very loud too.

Dirty, garbage everywhere, no one picked up dog poop or had bags available. I had to change rooms due to missing a tv remote. I also mentioned the sheets were used and not changed on the other bed. There were cigarette burns on pillow cases and the blankets. The discount price was $72. I think they could do better.

This place is disgusting. Killed a roach when I checked in. Dead roaches in my bed. Tons of people were in and out of room next to be. Tried to see why a light wouldn't work and found 2 CRACKPIPES in the lampshade!!! Broken down vehicles in the parking lot. I left b4 the end of the night because of the disgustingness of the whole place. I highly highly DO NOT recommend this place.

There were cochroaches all over the room. The mirror was off the wall and the fridge was outside in front of my door must have been broke down. Go to turn on the light and the whole light display falls off the wall. The room was so rundown I don't think they were suppose to rent it.

I've been staying at various motel 6s in the Des Moines area for quite some time now since the north side one has closed and turned into their new super six or whatever I've been spending most of my time staying at the North side one and over the years it is deteriorated to a mid-level slum housing complex infested with roaches footstep now after about a year have started making any honest and decent effort to clean up but it was at one point not uncommon to walk in and be greeted by more bugs of infestation but then actual workers overall cleanliness of the room is of a hassle to just not focused on the cleaning job just barely making it cozy enough to stay

the staff was very understanding accommodating to one's needs a few times I laid on my check out or waking up for check out and it very courteous and extending time to allow me to prepare myself to exit every so often you can find any good decent price available ability of smoking rooms is great did you feel safe on the property even though it can get rowdy and loud with the management has an overall group and control would like to see the pool open sometime and understand why not still draws me back home for my business
