The smell of paint in the hallway was so strong it gave me a headache. There was a vape left on the dresser which made me question whether or not the room had actually been cleaned. There was no holder for the toilet paper it was just roll sitting on the counter.

Clean room and friendly staff. They are doing a good job of running the hotel while its being renovated.

Negatives:
Poor breakfast; one of the poorest I have seen. Cheap. Scant. I travel a lot and many places have a much better breakfast than this Quality Inn. Actually, the Quality Inn in Rapid City also had a very poor sparse breakfast, so maybe it is a chain thing.
