There was an odor in the bathroom as if it was trying to cover up something. Everything worked well though.
While this is not a negative, it is something to be aware of - this hotel is in town, not near I-80. It's a five-minute drive away from Exit 164 and you will need a mapping app to get there.

My card was pre-authorized twice. Even after calling several times, it still took a week for the second hold to release my money back to me. That was $260 that was no longer available to us on our trip.
The bed wasn't very comfortable, we stayed in the king - spa tub suite, so I did expect at the very least a comfortable mattress.

Older hotel with basic accommodations. It was clean. Could use some updates and deeper cleaning though. But if you are looking for something cheaper but clean this place will work. Breakfast was great. The staff was wonderful. Had waffles and some other hot choices. They also had chocolate milk which was nice and bottled water.

I love all the Christmas decorations, the lobby always feels welcoming. The breakfast options are good, they always feel just a bit better than the average continental breakfast. The staff were friendly.
Negatives:
The mattresses were of a sort that seemed to magnify every movement.
