We booked a King accessible roll in shower and paid in advance. We arrived at approximately 5:30 pm for a 4 pm check in time. Our booked room had been given to a different guest. We were given a handicapped double queen with tub/shower combo with handrails. My husband is wheelchair bound. It was EXTREEMLY difficult to shower him. We couldn't enjoy sleeping together. The front desk could not help us regain our booked room without kicking out the quest who was given our room. My husband and I were NOT going to do that. It was made clear to us that the hotel clerk couldn't help us because we booked this hotel using a second- or third-party booking APP which was Booking.com. It was insinuated that it was our own fault for not booking directly with IHG and informing the Hotel that we had a wheelchair bound member in our party. I let the clerk know that that was not an acceptable response. We had the reservation booked; they knew it was booked by looking at the computer, but nonetheless, the clerk chose to give the room to a different guest that DID NOT have a handicap! UNACCEPTABLE!

Positives:
The friendliness of the staff and the way they made you feel at home. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing. It was almost like a home away from home that you didn't have to clean.

Breakfast bar was very good. Excellent selection. Great biscuits. We needed to change bedding around midnight because of an accident and the staff brought us a complete change of bedding in less than 10 minutes.

We needed to change our last night to a different city and that could not be accomplished .
