REALLY LOUD construction sounded like it was in the room right next to us. Saws, hammers... continued all day long, no chance to sleep in, no chance to nap. Would have booked elsewhere if I would have known.

I was skeptical about booking the hotel because of so many reviews on the construction. However, since we were staying only 1 day I thought we’d go ahead with it. I’m glad we did because the hotel looks great with the modern update. I don’t think the construction was as bad as most people make it to be (at least when we were there). Of course, it is to be expected. I feel like they are doing their best to not make it an issue for the customers. I love the new modern exterior and interior. I’m excited to see what the rooms will look like after they are done. Overall, we had a great time. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. The breakfast was great. Had good hot and savory options. We will stay again if we are in KC.

A lot of construction inside and outside the hotel. The breakfast was great and staff very pleasant and helpful. Great location for what we needed.

The construction was a little inconvenient at times and all amenities were not shared at checkin. Sofa couch very uncomfortable. Need new couches and mattress.
