Positives:
The room is comfortable and the hot breakfast was delicious with a variety of choices. The coffee was also good. We really enjoyed having the kids swim in the pool, while we could watch them from the hot tub. The location is centrally located and a short drive to Topeka’s attractions.
Negatives:
I didn’t specify what time we would be getting in, but arrived at 3:30pm (30 minutes after check in time) and my room was not ready yet. Jon let the cleaning crew know we had arrived and It took 15 minutes to get the room ready. During that time we went to the coffee shop next door.

The room was spacious and clean. Bedroom being separate was a plus. Kitchen was well equipped. Ice maker in the freezer was very convenient. Location of the hotel was close to restaurants and a Walmart.
Negatives:
Toilet was very short for a handicap accessible room. The couch was very uncomfortable and noisey. Only one footrest for two people. We stayed there previously a few years ago in a different room that had a couch with a chaise lounger attached to it so both of us could put our feet up. It was very comfortable comfortable compared to the couch this stay. We both were very sore after our stay.
