We stopped by here last minute because of the eclispe traffic, The owner was very welcoming and friendly, they were under construction on the bottom floors, but the 3rd floor was all complete and he said if we needed anything please ask and made sure our stay was a great one. Loved the shower head.

I ended up staying after a devastating tornado hit my town and I was unable to stay in my home. I was on crutches due to a recent surgery I had and I must say that as soon as the young lady at the desk realized that I was approaching the doors with crutches she ran to the door and held it open for me. This was the 4th night in a hotel and no one in the other hotels I stayed in ever helped me with anything (doors, luggage, etc.). I did reserve a room with 2 beds and was given a room with 1 bed and a couch, which I opted to stay in (too tired to move and due to shortage of hotel rooms in the area thought maybe a bigger family could use that type of room) they promptly brought me lots of extra sheets and blankets for the couch and my kid thought it was actually fun to sleep on the couch. Sorry I can’t remember the names of the 2 ladies working that night but I had so much going on. Thank you ladies for your kind words and support!!

The only suggestion is to not do renovations during the holidays, but maybe they were completely necessary.

The location was nice. It was clean. The staff moved us from 219 to 225. Reason is in the comments below. We didn't bother with the second room The staff is nice. Booking.com didn't send reservation through. They helped us contact them.
Negatives:
We had to move to another room. There isn't a shower knob in room 219. Room 225 isn't any better when you turn the shower on water sprays out around the knob. The light bulbs are missing in the bathroom. The table lamp is plugged in and sitting on the vanity. We were told there are working vending and ice machines on the second floor. Not true.

Check in ok. Breakfast service lousy. Was told person in charge is sick. So she had no time to make it and said we could have breakfast tomorrow!! Told her we check-out today, so since we payed for it, we expect to get at least something, which she then agreed to it. But she definitely was not happy about it. Have to say, she had no problem sitting outside smoking, instead of doing her job.
