Positives: The staff at La Quinta was wonderful, very hospitable and attentive to issues that happened during our stay. Breakfast was good and well stocked. Every time we entered the lobby we were greeted and the staff was cleaning and making sure that everything was well taken care of.
Negatives: Our room was an adjoining room with people we did not know. The volume from the other room was really rude. The first night the people were arguing and we had to turn the TV on so we did not hear their conversation. The second night they had another person in the room and they had the music so loud we couldn't hear our TV, not to mention it was 1am-2:30 am that we listened to the partying and music. We finally went and made a complaint to the front desk and they did go to the room and ask them to turn the music down/off - we heard them cussing and threatening us for the next 15-20 minutes. We appreciate that the property did intervene but we would not stay in one of those type of rooms again.

Negatives: Yes. Upon leaving the desk clerk told me that the room smelled of Marijuana and we don't smoke. Then told me that because there was no ashes she has to give me my deposit back. She basically accused me of something for nothing.

Positives: The breakfast and the fact that we could bring our dogs.
Negatives: The rooms were filthy and we had our room changed 3 times. All were dirty and the mattresses were nasty. There were blood stains on the mattresses and we were mortified. The bathrooms had pee on the floor and the toilets weren’t clean. This is by far the worst hotel stay I have ever had. They bring you sheets balled up in a ball that may or may not be clean and the pull out couch had no pillows and the front desk claimed they didn’t have any to give us. This overall experience was a nightmare and we will NEVER stay here again. We are Wyndham members and they still refused us a refund.

Negatives: I didn't like the person that checked me in that night. She was not pleasant, didn't smile once, didn't explain when asked questions. A different person checked me out the next morning and she was GREAT! I dislike the $50 deposit & the form which said I agree to a $150 cleaning fee and required my signature. It should be worded differently, very misleading.
