Positives:
We booked a two-night stay here on April 7 for the solar eclipse, so we were just happy to find any rooms available. I had to downgrade my rating of the value, because the price had gone up for the eclipse, of course. The hotel ended up being nicer than we had expected. We had large room with two double beds, a desk, a TV, a dresser, and even a refrigerator and microwave. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the blackout curtains. The breakfast included sausage, hard boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, pastries, and coffee and other items and there was adequate seating in the pleasant breakfast area by the front door, even though the hotel was full. The staff was friendly and there was ample parking. The hotel is located just off the interstate in an area with lots of hotels. It's convenient to the interstate and only a 10-minute drive to downtown, but you definitely need a car to go anywhere. By the way, Paducah is definitely worth a visit. The Historic Riverfront on the Ohio River is very pretty and the downtown area has some interesting shops and restaurants. We didn't get to visit the National Quilt Museum, but it has great reviews.
Negatives:
It's not a luxurious suite or apartment, but if you just need a standard hotel room with breakfast, it works well!

Good breakfast (better than most). Comfortable bed, pillows and room. Good size bathroom. Easy check-in and check-out. Ice machine nearby. Wifi good. TV (choices) ok.
Negatives:
Price was high. Carpets in common area could have been a bit cleaner. Location generally acceptable.

Cleanest place we’ve stayed on our 1,200 mile road trip thus far. TV worked, complementary soaps we’re wonderful, and we were upgraded to a larger room for free

A bit aged in some spots. Decor is dated. Breakfast ends at 9am and we slept in to 9:30
