Negatives: there was no heat in the room and they said the repair man was gone for the weekend,so they gave us blanket's,it said the room had disability access but the beds were so high ,i'm 5 ft tall and have a bad knee and couldn't hardley get in bed

Negatives: I booked a handicap accessible room 6 months in advance as we were coming to Shelbyville for my granddaughters wedding bringing my 92 year old mother. I even called the property in advance to confirm my reservations. After a long all day flight we got to BW Shelbyville and was told they did not have any accessible rooms left. The clerk said they didnt have any rooms left. My brother in law who is an attorney and also staying at this hotel told the clerk he better get us a room Booking.com was no help. All they could do was confirm we had a reservation. Two hours of my mom sitting in the car while we figured things out the clerk finally gave us a non accessible room which we had no choice but to accept. Her wheelchair or walker could not fit into the bathroom and barely into the doorway. The clerk for some reason charged my credit card 3 times for the room and therefore my bank thought it was fraud and declined all 3 transactions. I received 2 phone calls in the middle of the night 1:00 -2:00 am to tell me I needed to go to the front desk. I waited until the next morning and straightened it out The next day the woman in charge miraculously found us a accessible room and we had to change rooms before going to wedding rehearsal. The hotel is old and run down and definitely needs to be updated with linens and furnishings replaced. Honestly this is the first bad experience I have ever had with BW. I wont stay at this one again.

Negatives: a 40 charge to have room ready by noon , when i put on email when i booked that i would get to hotel at 12 noon, and to be charged extra when room was all ready cleaned was not right
