Lots of renovation no door on bathroom they would not move me. Hammering and nailing construction early in the morning and only one elevator worked. Horrible stay.

Positives:
Great location, front desk staff was amazing!
Negatives:
Upon arrival, got double full beds, paid for queens. Housekeeping had to be requested 24 hours in advance, did that, never came. Historic elevators kept getting stuck, stuck inside 15 minutes, had to phone front desk. Loud street noise even on 14th floor
Positives:
The distance from walking
Negatives:
Construction constantly the sounds were in my room at 7am and through out the day I was there the ac did not work its was just a constant issue with the morning sound tho and the elevator
Positives:
Check-out I couldnt help but leave as the construction crews worked throughout New Years Day and began at 7 am Jan 2 It was horrendous noise from the room right above mine
Negatives:
Everything It was located on blocks away from the safe neighborhoods and parking was a workout getting to and from the self park . Staff was minimal, slow, the key never worked and had to be rekeyed every time you left the building HORRENDOUS
Positives:
free breakfast and location
Negatives:
the elevator was sooooo slow
Positives:
The location of the hotel was convenience to the various activities planned. The size of the room was perfect for two unrelated guests.
Negatives:
The hotel was under construction charging full price for the rooms. The lobby was an eyesore with scaffolding stationed in the lobby and painted footprints all over the hotel. The housekeeping staff did clean once my stay being there, even after requests.

Negatives:
The room was awful there was a bathtub shower and it was dirty . None of the fixtures were mounted to sink or the toilet to the floor . The shower would not come on the next morning the fixture was broken sketchy traffic we felt unsafe .
Negatives:
My room was dirty tub was dirty no towels .. no cover just thin sheets
Positives:
The staff was helpful and friendly. The bed was comfortable, water pressure and hot water in shower was excellent. Large TV and fairly quiet room at the end of the hall.
Negatives:
Cosmetically, the hotel was unappealing. Gum was stuck to the carpet in my room, wallpaper behind the bed was peeling. The bathroom was very clean, but walls needed to be painted. Bathtub faucet was missing the handles. More like a 2.5 star hotel.
Positives:
TLocation.
Negatives:
The hotel is under renovation, everything is a mess. The included breakfast is totally a joke. The hotel doesn't provide parking lot, you need to pay extra to park at other lots.
Positives:
I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was an historic building and the room, once you got in it, was actually pretty nice and cozy and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was really quiet in our room, we didn't have to listen to our neighbors.
Negatives:
When choosing this property, I did so because it said it had a bar/lounge with live music. It did not. In fact, when walking around the outside of the hotel, we at first thought it to be closed. In addition, a fire alarm went off several times that night
Positives:
The location to the Joy Theatre. The bed was very comfy.
Negatives:
Only problem was construction being done at the hotel. This was minor and did not interfere with our plans.
