Positives:
Great location and price. Has real character.
Negatives:
It’s an old old building so you just kind of accept the kinks. This is the second time I’ve stayed here but I think the loud music from the lobby until 1 am may be too much for me in my old age.

Charming. Great location. Loud.
Positives:
From the large bed, to the artwork, to the beautiful bathroom... It was a wonderful room and hotel. It was a treat to be able to relax on the balcony. The bar and bartender were wonderful and can't beat the happy hour price! Then entertainment was amazing, although, sharing it with the outside crowd was a bummer with no seating.
Negatives:
The noise. You are right on Frenchmen street. So there is a lot of noise from cars going by and just general people walking by.

Positives:
Amazing location in a historic building. I especially loved all of the original artwork throughout the hotel.
Negatives:
It was very disappointing that there was no hot water available in my room during my stay. That would've been a dealbreaker for booking this hotel, since all I really wanted to do was take a hot shower after a long day of traveling. I understand that places have temporary issues, but I wasn't informed at any point prior to my stay or at check in that there would be no hot water. I see now that others have experienced this same issue while staying at the property.

I love that it was dog friendly.
The staff was super nice.
I'm thinking of booking again in a few months, but....
Negatives:
My bed was very uncomfortable, not soft, very hard and bouncy.

Positives:
Everything exceeded our expectations! The staff in the hotel and the on-site bar, especially Amanda, were beyond amazing and everyone made us feel at home with their hospitality. The neighborhood is super eclectic with lots of great people, great restaurants, and great music. This will be our go-to place for our yearly NOLA trip!
Negatives:
Live music from the local bars and the hotel lobby occur almost every night, so if you require a silent sleep, this won't be your place. However, we embraced being lured to sleep by the jazz music and the sounds of the neighborhood.

Wow!!
Positives:
The bar, band and people at our arrivals
Negatives:
The bed, dirty curtains, the fact that our room has not been made at 5pm. We left the hotel that morning at 10:30am with the sign on the door “clean the room”. And the fact that it was no employees around when we got back to talk about it, except for the bar tender.
