The property was tired, like many Days Inns. It was just so so at best. My bed sloped down from the foot to the headboard and it was beside the loud A/C unit. We couldn't open the window for relief because the security light blasted in the window.

10-15 drive from center of Portland. Low price.

Offers a continental breakfast, but barely any variety of food.

Got what I expected for the price.
Positives:
Nicest, most helpful and most professional staff people that one is likely to encounter. The price was relatively inexpensive. The room was very clean, especially the bedding and towels. The television worked fine and there was a nice, simple, large-print guide informing guests of the channels available on the television and the corresponding number. Hotel is located right next to the intersection of I-95 and I-295.
Negatives:
A little bit far away from downtown, but the hotel is right next door to the Maine Mall and to all kinds of other conveniences.

Every staff person I interacted with, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff were professional, courteous and very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. Location isn't in downtown Portland, but it is not far and is located right next to a huge mall, and all kinds of other conveniences. Right next door is MY personal favorite convenience - Starbucks Coffee.
