Negatives:
We booked 2 rooms. One smelled very strong of mold. And both had me questioning the cleanliness of the entire hotel. The whole hotel is under renovation/construction zone. Here for a wrestling event and the pool, fitness center were both a factor in booking this premises. Both were closed and under renovation the bar area was a factor for booking with 3 adults, also closed. The bar/lounge now hosts breakfast and closed otherwise. Although the sign outside (see timestamped screenshots) is still advertising all of these unavailable amenities. Truly disappointing and false advertising at best. Complete disappointment! In addition to booking.com charging for the room and paying in advance theyve also charged us an additional $174 for our stay.

Location was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room had a small fridge that worked well.
Negatives:
The pool was drained and dirty, so not available. The EDGE Bar was closed, open only for breakfast. The free breakfast was not good. At all. The coffee was terrible. I never saw the game room and question whether it still exists. The bathroom was clean and looked newly renovated but there were no towel bars or towel hooks, no toilet paper roll holder, no shower mat/towel for the floor. Beds were comfortable enough but the pillows were too short and not at all comfortable. There were dirty towels on the floor in the hallway outside my room from the time we checked in at 7pm until we left the following morning.

It was very well located, only a few minutes walk from downtown restaurants and shops and close to the river walk.

The immediate surrounding area felt a little seedy but we didnt feel at all unsafe.
