The room had no heat and the manager never repaired it . He said he would refund half my rate and did nothing

It is in very close proximity to family
Negatives:
We could not adjust the temperature of the room. Either the controls were broken, or the temperature is controlled by the hotel, but the unit controls were not working and it was very warm for sleeping.

It's a large hotel, close to the highway but not close enough that you get a lot of road noise.

Some of the decor is a bit dated, but they're currently renovating the property.

Clean place. Staff accommodated my request for early check in and late check out due to the wedding events taking place at the property which I was attending
Negatives:
Very small bathroom: only one person can use at a time. It was shocking that the black out curtains did not close resulting in poor sleep. The room was facing the outdoor construction facility of the hotel. At 4 am, there were very bright flood lights that turned on outdoor. With no black out curtains, the light shone in my room, resulting in sleep disturbance. I paid over $200 for a night to get no sleep??? It defeated the purpose of my stay overnight at the hotel: very disappointed!!

Hopefully the update they are working on is massive. Its a good location but felt like I was in a room from the 80s.
Positives:
Was clean and comfortable. The parking lots all around the hotel are odd.. didnt really matter. A good simple stop off the highway and a great price - for a work trip.

The room was very comfortable and very clean the mattress on the bed was comfortable. I will say we had dinner in the restaurant and it was the best dinner my husband and I had in a restaurant ever. We both had the salmon and the cook was out standing. I have never given a cook a tip but we gave the cook a tip. The waiter was the greatest so polite he was also outstanding I give the restaurant a 10+.
