I put a lot of faith and hope in breakfast and it was a bit lacking . The “nook” area was isolated in the back of the lodging area and there were limited opportunities for hot food. I was excited about the pancakes maker but there was no hot protein to go with the pancake.

We liked our room and view. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a meal at the restaurant. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The location allowed us to easily access Stockbridge, Lee, Lenox, and Pittsfield.
Negatives:
The second floor hallway always smelled a little stale and a bit like we were entering a house full of cats. This did not impact our room in any way. Perhaps updated carpeting would help. Or just air freshener. We had two drawers in our chest of drawers that would not stay closed. It was no big deal, but it made us laugh.

Room was dirty & I have numerous photos to prove this. Pubes in the tub. Breakfast was skimpy. Hotel double charged me. My entire reservation was wrong and I was charged for a night I never even got to stay. I'd like my refund. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Fridge didn't work. Front desk was rude and unprofessional & didn't help with the refund even though they made the mistake. Placed the blame on Booking.com and lack of communication.

We only stayed for a night - just had to get away to recharge and this was the perfect place for it. Quaint little town, inn on the lake. We stayed in a king superior lakeview room and appreciated the whirlpool tub, fireplace and late checkout. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. We stayed for the Sunday lunch buffet which was spectacular. We did not encounter a lot of staff during our quick stay, but the ones we did were helpful and pleasant.
