The property was super clean and close to amenities

There was a lot of young (middle school aged) hockey players also staying at the hotel. Parents didn’t keep a close eye on them so they were a bit wild everywhere you turned. Running in the parking lot at 10PM at night unsupervised while myself and others were trying to park. Hotel staff and stay was great so not saying as a bad review on the hotel itself but maybe those individuals needed to be spoken to.

Positives:
The property is very clean and the rooms are nice and spacious. There is free breakfast included in your stay as well. There was a good selection of items to pick from, such as cereal, hot breakfast items, bakery items and fruit. They also provide varieties of milk, juices, tea and coffee. The property is in the vicinity of restaurants, family entertainment and shopping centers.
Negatives:
I didn’t like the fact that the pool area was crowded with young hockey players, who were very inconsiderate of other people in the pool. They were throwing a ball around that kept hitting other hotel guests. The parents just sat there drinking their alcohol drinks and not speaking to them to watch or even stop throwing the ball, because other hotel guests were trying to swim and enjoy the pool as well. The ball even hit a pregnant woman in the stomach. My family didn’t mind the boys playing and having fun, but they just were wild and didn’t care who was around or in the way. They just continued to whip the ball around and nobody at the front desk did anything to resolve the issue.

The room was clean, and it was nice to have the couch seating area aside from the beds. The price of the room was a good value, and it was nice to have complimentary breakfast in the morning with multiple options. The kids loved having the indoor pool.
Negatives:
It was frustrating that the pool was closed for maintenance the next day. We were initially told the pool should be open normal the next day, but when we got down at 8 am someone was shocking it and said it would be open at 10. We killed some time, went back down at 10 and then there was a sign saying it was closed for maintenance and would be open at 12- but we had to check out. We had taken the kids on an overnight to have a little getaway, and planned on swimming in the morning so it was frustrating to keep getting different messages about the pool.

We booked last minute as we came in for a wake and funeral. I chose this for its location and the size of the room. We were 3 adults and it helped us not feel so cramped with the additional seating space.
