Rest of room was sketchy. They lied to me continuously. They would take my booking.com reservation when I got there at one am after a four hour drive and a trade show at seven am. I am hoping that booking.com refunded my money as they promised. The the hotel told me if I paid cash they could discount to about the booking rate. Then when I came back a half hour later they charged me more than what they said plus a $100 refundable cleaning fee. When I left they lied and said I only paid $50. They would not give me a receipt. It was a nightmare. We had tornadoes on my hometown the day before I left. Why I got there so late. Then I read some reviews at different places than what I checked before and I saw bed bugs on there! Now when I get home after a four hour drive I will have to take safety measures for that.

1) The friendly greeting when I was checking in.
2) The refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and hairdryer.
3) Very clean in all areas, hallway, elevator, lobby and room.
4) Five pillows!!!!!

I knew not to expect the pool to be available… I saw it on the website. But…. I thought a nice little breakfast would be available since I was told the hours were 6-9. When I woke up early and came downstairs to get the paper and continental breakfast, I saw this notice taped to the wall that said unfortunately, no breakfast is available.
So……
Very noisy outside of my window for hours as a lady obviously needed help with a jumpstart and snow/ice scraping.

Pool was closed- even though I called a few hours before and was told it was open.

COLD- there was a draft under the door- I had to put pillow there to block it- it was coming in so much.
