Our room had a water leak in the bathroom. We called the front desk and they helped us asap. They moved us to an upgraded room and apologized for the trouble. They did a great job!!

Greeted by very friendly staff. Lightning fast check in! Had exactly the type/location room that I had requested. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Nice shower. Good hot breakfast. Pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and a variety of breads and cereals with all the fixin's.

Could not get a receipt for the room charges, no discounts, because of third party booking. Had no idea of all the hidden charges when doing convenient booking on-line. Thinking $---per night, total bill $---. Whats the extra charges????

This is the 3rd time I have stayed at the Baymont in Baxter. Obviously the first 2 times were great, which is why I booked again. This time was far from great. I requested a ground floor king sized room because I have bad knees. I received a middle of the 3rd floor room. The clerk said "the elevator is just around the corner" which was that many more steps I had to manage. The clerk noted that since I booked through a third party, he could do nothing. The sheets would not stay on the bed. The previous night we stayed at the St. Paul Holiday Inn on an excellent bed with sheets that stayed in place. This was far from that. The breakfast was resoundingly mediocre with limp flat pancakes, due to the machine that made them, stale muffins, biscuits and gravy were cold, and not much else to choose from. And after we checked in we were told in town that bedbugs were evident, although we did not find any, thank goodness. What did we like? The hot tub with no children present.

That the woman in charge did change our room. I got flee bites overnight from that room. Guess it is a room for people with pets.

Breakfast was awful. Expired milk in fridge for two days. Same breakfast foods everyday. Who wants boiled eggs and pancakes everyday. Men want scrambled eggs, some type breakfast meat. Someone needs to attend the breakfast bar.
