Positives:
The sink did not drain.we used the toilet once and it would not flush. Dirt and mold on the morter joints by tub and floor .door chain broken 5 times in the past.rear entry door is sprung open from a break in .request money refund!!!! It's a dump.
Positives:
Great location and front desk staff exceeded expectations. Basic breakfast was clean and stocked well, hot foods hot, cold foods cold and good variety.
Negatives:
Pricing!!!!!!!!! Over $300 a night is absolutely insane for these accommodations that match competitive motels in the area and if I wasn't desperate for a room as we were in town for the hospital, I never would've paid that. Yes it's a high demand "season" in the area but seriously that's unbelievable, just robbery.

Positives:
Good location, clean and comfortable room.
Negatives:
Breakfast very minimal. Long wait to get checked in, probably because the property is understaffed.
Review
It worked great for brief trip to Duluth. We would return.
Positives:
At check-in, they moved us from an upper level room to one on the ground floor. This was good because they did not have an elevator. Also, we were across from the dining room which made getting breakfast easy. The room was okay but like most rooms, they do not have enough lighting. Breakfast was minimal but sufficient for our needs. This hotel is close to the beginning of the scenic drive through eastern Minnesota which was very handy.
Negatives:
Lighting could always be better. The driveway was steep and we had a window facing an outside patio so we needed to keep the curtains shut. We did not spend much time there so it was okay.
Review
Decent place to stay if you're heading for the scenic highway.
Positives:
Clean. Great staff. Convenient.
