La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Canton

Negatives: The hotel isn't clean. I had the change room because the first one smelled of pee and the sheets were stained. The second room, the bedding was stained. The stairway had dirt in it, the whole time I was there. I also found a big cockroach in the bathroom the morning I was leaving.

Negatives: The toilet had a ring stain and the lid was loose and slid around. The bathtub had a scum ring around it and the stopper was broken.

Negatives: I registered for two queen sides beds a few days before my stay; however, the day before I arrived I was told that my room was changed to a king size more spacious room. The sender of the text asked if I was ok with this, which I said "yes." I did not take a shower the night arriving, but needed one the following morning. I discovered that the shower did not work 5:30 that morning! It is quite awkward and uncomfortable washing a full human body with faucet running inside of a tub. My reasons for booking the room was to run the Mississippi Blues in Jackson. Not being able to shower after arriving back to my hotel room was something I have never experienced. Yes, the receptionist at the front desk did apologize upon my checking out, but it makes me wonder if the "room switch" was made to accommodate maybe someone else who had a problem in that room earlier and was moved to another room.

Negatives: The hot breakfast food items were cold.

Negatives: Bathrooms really need updating. Fan is loud..Toilet is so low to ground. Made it really hard for my 6'1" hubby. No hand soap at sink. (staff said she couldnt find any?). Would not use the bath tub. it looked like it was worn out and drain was all carotated. It was also noisy with doors shutting and traffic.

Negatives: Bathroom needs redone Closet door would not close Couldn’t get TV to work but too tired to call and have someone check it

Negatives: I loved everything about the property

Negatives: The handicap tub was not pleasant. It needs some updating.
