the area was quiet and it was close to where I needed to be for the weekend

I expected a little more from this facility since it was TownPlace; it reminded me of something that was a step above Extended Stay; the hotel looks new from the exterior but interior was a little bit run down; i stayed on the third floor and it was kind of disheartening to see someone's trash as soon as you stepped off the elevator and also the room wasn't adequately clean; there was trash in the corners of the room where housekeeping didn't sweep or vacuum thoroughly; you definitely overcharged for this stay based on the condition on the hotel in the interior; the cabinets were old, scratched and I just expected better

The stay exceeded expectations

We were charged extra $100 for my pet and never ever got charged for it, we have used Towneplace Suites in Dallas, Houston and never got charge for our support dog or $20 extra for "incidentals"
The room had a microwave oven that goes above the stove sitting on the only table in the room so no space to eat or put your food on. The sofa bed that supposed to be in the room as well as the coffee table and iron were missing and there was only one old all scratched chair to take a sit in the room. As soon as we checked in we got the smell of skunk marihuana coming from the "employee room only" which door was slammed all night long until about 2am and all first floor could hear it.
